JALEN RAMSEY RUMORS: ARE COWBOYS ACTUALLY GOING ALL IN?

We might actually be witnessing it: a legit all-in moment for the Dallas Cowboys.
Before the draft, Jerry Jones teased he was working on multiple substantial trades. One of those dominoes already fell, and it was a big one. George Pickens is now a Cowboy.
Could the next big swing involve four-time All-Pro and Super Bowl champ Jalen Ramsey?
According to reports, the Cowboys are among the teams showing interest.
Other teams in the mix include the Rams and Commanders.
This would be a major shift in philosophy for Dallas. Jerry stood at the podium 16 months ago, declaring the Cowboys were “All In.” It sounded like stubborn Jerry being petty with fan sentiment at the time, and the front office followed it with one of the quietest off seasons in recent memory.
So…is this year different? Is the Dak Prescott or Jerry Jones window starting to close, and injecting urgency for the first time since they traded for Amari Cooper in 2019?
Now — Dallas has not been reckless. Their strategy lately has been to find quality veterans on discounted deals who have a shot to perform at a pro bowl or all pro level. Add Jalen Ramsey to that mix, and suddenly the secondary and entire roster is looking stacked.
Ramsey, even at this stage, is still one of the league’s best corners. Pro Football Focus ranked him 16th out of 222 corners last year.
He was 39th in coverage, 10th in run defense, and led all corners in pressures.
And the contract? Surprisingly manageable.
There’s even a potential out after the 2025 season if Father Time catches up to him.
So here we are again — wondering if Jerry’s finally pushing his chips in. With Pickens already in the fold and Ramsey potentially on deck, this could be the boldest Cowboys time period since they landed T.O. and traded for Roy Williams in the 2000s.
You buying it?
